 Ayvalık, Balıkesir ilinin bir ilçesidir ve Türkiye'nin batısında, Ege Denizi kıyısında yer almaktadır. İlçenin tarihi, antik çağlara kadar uzanır ve bölgede birçok tarihi eser bulunmaktadır. Ayvalık'ın en önemli özelliklerinden biri, küçük adalarla dolu bir koy olan Ayvalık Adaları'dır. Bu adaların en ünlüsü Cunda Adası'dır.
